Gybyl-Hawlyr Bolt-Action Rifle
The Gybyl-Hawlyr is considered a premier fighting rifle across Alwyd. Considered by many historians to be almost single-handedly responsible for winning the Creevin wars of Attrition in ‘23 and the Creevish campaigns into Maer Braech in ‘46 and ‘51. The GH rifle fires an 8x54mm round and uses a 48 round magazine or a smaller 12 round. The platform supports a scope mount and is heavy enough to provide a stable base for distance shooting as well as supporting rifle grenades, when supplies of them can be had.
The rifle has never been exported en-mass and has become quite the collector’s item across the continent from foppish officers to game-hunters to partisan cadres. The only firearm more sought after by collectors is the Dinas Armories Cavalry Carbine.
The GH is precise, breaks down quickly and has very few moving parts. It’s one drawback is its weight, earning it the nickname of “Stout Chap”
Naenyd mk4a LMG
The Naenyd marks one and two were bipod and tripod mounted medium machine guns respectively. As the Creevish military began to require a more aggressive stance in the 1740s and 50s it required mobile firepower. Simultaneously the Trench Watch, a mobile defensive force, was being formed to protect Creevin internally as her armies marched south and west.
The Mark 3 was a total failure, rushed into production and barely field tested. The weight was reduced so much that it became unstable as a firing platform. Many rhyflers abandoned it in the field after denting the receiver or after continuous jammed feeds.
The Mark 4 was redesigned from the ground up with the only common parts between it and its predecessors the bolt assembly. The Mark 4 was a true light machine gun in weight and performance. The “A” variant standardized on a 6x45mm round typically with a box magazine of 52 rounds. Most have recently been modified with a foregrip to control recoil on the advance.
The Naenyd has become widespread with some Trench Watch companies having two or three of these weapons per squad.

Moog-C SMG
The Moog-C is one of the many patterns of Moog SMGs exported out of the ubiquitous Kryster arms plants and is one of their more popular designs. The primary
difference between the basic Moog and the Moog-C is that the receiver has been modified to accept a forward mounted magazine rather than a top mounted one. Smaller modifications have been made to the location of the safety and the length of the barrel.
The Moog line of submachine guns are very reliable. Designed to work in the hot, sand-filled conditions of the desert they function mechanically nearly flawlessly in the Creevish climate.
Primarily carried by Watch officers the Moog-C is chambered in 8x35mm and utilizes a 60 round drum magazine. The smg is capable of a firing rate of 500-600 rounds per minute.
Rg7/7 Shotgun
The Rg7/7 is a single-action top-break 7 gauge shotgun. The Rg7/7 utilizes a manually rotated 7 chamber cylinder and is a relatively heavy weapon. The 7 gauge solid slug is heavy enough to penetrate lighter tractor armor and the 7 gauge scattershot is quite effective in the tight confines of the Creevish Trench Highways.
The raider units of the Watch have traditionally carried a combination of shotguns, carbines and various handguns. However, with the Western Arnyaran incursion the heavier shotguns have become more ubiquitous as they are one of the few weapons capable of damaging the great Western Arnyaran Iron Houses when used at close quarters.
The Rg7/7 has several variants commonly in use. These primarily include longer barrels and pistol grips. The original pattern included a muzzle break. However this interfered with the Rg7/7 being easily wedged between the loose armor plating of the Arnyaran Iron Houses to deal damage to the inner workings and crew of the tractor.

Snyprod Arms HMG-7U and HSG-4T
As the Creevish military has modernized over the decades Snyprod Arms and its clever design staff have come up with many creative ways to marry the useful parts of older technology to the technology of modern warfare. The HMG-7 and HSG-4 series are no exception.
Gun carriages are everywhere. Some are hundreds of years old and were built to carry muzzle-loading cannon and other archaic artillery pieces. Not only are they common but they are perfect in design for being towed by taru and other commonly used Creevish beasts of burden along Creevin’s trench highways. Snyprod has designed a clever universal mount and reinforcement system to re-purpose these older gun carriages to modern use.
The HMG-7U is a water cooled, belt fed 8x54mm medium machine gun.
The HSG-4T is a multi-barrel heavy shotgun. Unlike most heavy shotguns utilized on Alwyd, the HSG-4T has sacrificed the ability to fire a large solid slug in favor of multiple smaller gauge barrels designed to cover the trench highways with a high volume of fire.
