In addition to the newer tractors like the Ghrykyn and Ikyth the situation in Creevin has forced the Easkovites to bring some second line tractors into the front lines. The Creevish Trench Watch cavalry and the Fidwogger Gwylons have been a thorn in the side of the G’dogolwyr from the start. The Pygaed light tractor with its three machine guns has become invaluable on the great wide open Creevish plains, often laying down a high volume, low-accuracy fusillade to keep Creevish cavalry sappers and Gwylon riding anti-tractor teams at bay.
The Pygaed mounts three .44 caliber MMR37 medium machine guns. The guns may be fired individually or triggered all at once from the commander’s position and while still being aimed by their respective gunners. The Pygaed carries massive ammo stores, which are needed, as the guns eat ammunition at a ferocious rate.
The Pygaed has a crew of 4. The commander/driver steers the tractor and operates the forward gun. There is a left and a right gunner and a fourth crew member to load ammo and sweep spent brass into funnels built into the tractor floor.
